Carmen Vega is the Office Manager of Aguilera International Counsel, LLP. Carmen has been working in the legal field for over 20 years at top law firms in New York and Arizona. She has assisted attorneys in matters involving corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation matters. She also worked in the healthcare field as part of the Labor Relations team at a reputable health care facility.
Carmen is a native of New York. She was born to Puerto Rican parents. Carmen is fluent in Spanish. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the City University of New York. She initially set out to teach English as a Second Language to elementary school children. Carmen’s broad experience has provided her with the knowledge and insight required to manage a law practice.
Before joining Aguilera International Counsel, Carmen was employed at the firm of Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where she workied in cross border transactions. Carmen was the assistant and paralegal to Ben Aguilera’s international practice group at Greenberg Traurig, LLP. In 2007, Carmen joined the firm of Aguilera International Counsel. Prior to becoming part of Aguilera International Counsel and coming to Arizona, Carmen worked for one of the top law firms in New York. She was the assistant to a securities litigator at the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. She was also part of the tax department at Weil, Gotshal & Manges. In addition, she also worked for the securities firm of Werbel Grossman & McMillian directly with a boutique investment bank based in New York.
Carmen is a certified yoga instructor and teaches at a yoga studio in Phoenix, Arizona.
